Hi, I’m Sabrina – the brains behind The Crochet Studio.
I was first introduced to the world of crochet at the age of 9 when my mother bought me a collection of crochet cards. And I still have them till today!
While I got into it pretty quickly, I only ever knew how to do single crochet…..
Almost 12 years later, I saw a really nice crochet bucket hat and I thought “Hey, maybe I could DIY that!”
So I picked up my crochet hooks, bought some yarns and decided to learn everything there is to know about crochet. Needless to say, I haven’t stopped since!
I started off with a really tiny coaster. I mean, look at the size of it!!
Before venturing to blankets…..
Blankets became totebags, totebags became buckethats and safe to say – I fell in love!
But all these questions bug me:
What tools should I have? What size of yarn go with what size of hook? Is this yarn good for making bags? Or should I go with a bulkier yarn?
My learning was painstakingly slow because I had to do it alone 🙁
And so The Crochet Studio was born – to help anyone interested in the art of crochet!
This will serve as a guide for you to find the necessary tools and yarns, as well as easy crochet patterns and designs that you can immediately try out. I share my personal experience and struggles with crochet here and I hope you can share yours too! 🙂
